Pulling for Pete ’21

Want to join us in making a difference? We’re raising money to benefit The New England Parkinson’s Ride, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

Background
A long time friend of Steve and Kerrie, Peter Marconi, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2012, and has been involved with the Michael J. Fox foundation since 2012. Since 2013, Team CRCF Strong has participated in the Ride, and the coaches at CRCF/CRSF have completed a workout to raise additional funds for the cause. As the remaining staff from CRSF have started a new company, PRSF, we have decided to continue the tradition!

This Year’s Event
Steve and Kerrie will complete a Marathon Row (42,195m) on Marathon Monday- October 11, 2021. We invite members of PRSF, and One Nation to participate with us! Anyone who would like to join us will have the option of rowing the full distance, or half, or complete the row as a tag team event with friends! Either way, we would like this to be a community event!

More information about The New England Parkinson’s Ride: The New England Parkinson’s Ride is an annual cycling event for all ages and abilities that raises funds for The Michael J Fox Foundation for research toward a cure. It was started by the Woods Family in 2008 when Chris Woods was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 41. Starting with only 35 cyclists, the Ride now hosts 1000+ cyclists each September in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Having raised nearly $2,000,000 this ride is the largest independent fundraiser for Team Fox in the USA.

Here’s the Link to donate! Want to join us for the row? Send an email to Steve@phoenixrisingsf.com and  we’ll add you to the roster!
